Mr. Honen leads the firm’s Venture Capital Team and focuses his practice in corporate, finance and venture capital law, as well as complex commercial litigation. He provides corporate counsel to a broad spectrum of companies from startup to Fortune 50, and has lectured extensively, particularly on the topics of corporate law, venture capital and angel investing. Mr. Honen is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© and was twice named the Best Lawyers® Corporate Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Albany, most recently for 2021. He received his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.
