Erie County Div. of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

The mission of the EEO Office is to help build an inclusive workforce in an environment that fosters dignity and respect for the individual through best customer practices and focus on the taxpayer, and cultivates business and economic development opportunities for minority and women owned businesses.

The division is the ombudsman for minority and women business enterprises (M/WBE’s). It assists and certifies minority and women business enterprises. The Division audits county contracts for goods, services and construction to maintain participation goals for M/WBE’s. Services are provided to facilitate M/WBE access to County contracts. A Job Bank is available to assist County departments and local businesses in recruiting protected class members for employment.
